Richard Marquis

Richard Marquis (Born 1945) is active/lives in California.  Richard Marquis is known for Glass artist-teapots, craftsman.

After studying both ceramics and glass in California in the mid 1960s, he gained early recognition with blown glass. In 1969, he had a Fulbright Scholarship to Murano, Italy and mastered the techniques of Venetian glass blowing and "murrine," the slicing of colored glass. He is known for his signature teapots, quirky and humorous.
